It Will Never End - 5.23

Lots Going On

Hopefully everyone is having a great long weekend. Spring is upon us and summer right around the corner. Hopefully you're getting some warm sun on the skin.

Succession ends tonight. Who do you think will prevail?!

The Celtics have fought back and tied the ECF at 3-3. Been a phenomenal series, but can't help but assume whomever advances is gonna be swiftly cut down by the Joker and my (used to be home) Denver Nuggets buzz saw!

Let's get to it.

NYC like the Roy's?

I put together a GMAPS list of ALL the restaurants/locations that have been featured in succession over the past 4 seasons. (if you find more, lmk and I'll add them)

Access it here: Succession Locations (you can add it to your personal list by following)

Helping Friends

Gonna start highlight folks in my network at the end here! If you're interested in a plug, let me know.

This month, we're highlighting Michael Louis, a serial entrepreneur, currently building Cerebrium. They're YC-backed startup in the machine learning (AI) space.

Cerebrium allows companies to fine-tune and deploy machine learning models to Serverless CPUs/GPUs. They abstract not only the infrastructure away from our end user but also the ML research, which is why we are the preferred platform for users from Twilio, Writesonic and many others.

They recently launched a bounty concept for their community, where you can post/solve problems, leveraging their network of engineers in the space.

Their primary competition is AWS Sagemaker at this time. If interested, respond and i'll make a direct intro.

Till next time,

ck

Homework For Life After reading Matthew Dicks book, Storyworthy, I picked up a new habit. He calls it Homework For Life. It's just a daily journal entry. Every morning (or evening, if you prefer), take a minute and think back to the prior day. Go thru everything memorable that happened, and pull out the best story. Write down a quick sentence that highlights what the story is. Enough to give you context where your memory snaps back to that moment in time. Bonus points if you write down the...

Top Thought: I've been obsessing over systematizing the process to hire the best people all summer while building Hirexe. The most exciting part is that we’re transitioning from: Manual Processes -> Automated Systems The next transition = Automated Systems -> Usable Products How? Technology, of course! (software ui/ux + databases + AI models) Stick with me... The 2 most agonizing aspects of the hiring process: 1 - Quantitive Screening (resumes) These are easy yes/no questions to answer What...

It doesn't matter if you're a cutting-edge AI technology product or cooking giros on the corner in NYC. I often get asked this question for Hirexe - what makes you different? The answer is the 6 Y's.
